Joe Rusko is responsible for managing Jaypee Medical Inc.’s publishing business in the United States. He is also Jaypee Medical’s chief acquisition editor. Joe has acquired titles in general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, and the basic sciences for Jaypee and is currently seeking new titles in cardiology, dermatology, and endocrinology.

Jennifer DiRicco is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University and the most recent addition to the Philadelphia office. She has worked at several academic institutions, including Princeton Theological Seminary, where she enjoyed perfecting the many manuscripts that professors would leave on her desk. She is thrilled to find herself on the publisher’s side of the process at Jaypee! She is currently working on books in the areas of liver transplantation and dermatology, among others.
She lives in Philadelphia and feels awesome every time she looks out from the top of the Philadelphia Art Museum steps.
Barton Dudlick is a Developmental Editor at Jaypee Medical Inc. and has worked in STM and academic publishing for more than two decades. A native of Philadelphia, Barton started his medical publishing career at WB Saunders Company. He progressed through several editorial levels while working in the Clinics publishing program at Saunders—managing titles such as Radiologic Clinics of North America, Orthopedic Clinics, and MRI Clinics—before the company was acquired by Elsevier in 2001. During his time with Elsevier, he was promoted to publisher and continued working on clinical review periodicals, leaving the company in 2011.
After a stint at Taylor & Francis as publisher for their journals in behavioral sciences and health & social care, Barton joined Jaypee in early 2015. Barton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Temple University and resides in Haddon Township, New Jersey.
Tom Gibbons has almost 30 years’ experience in medical and educational publishing, primarily at Saunders-Elsevier and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, as a proofreader, copy editor, project editor, and developmental editor for titles in nursing, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, oncology, radiology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, pharmacology, internal medicine, plastic surgery, nephrology, immunology, emergency medicine and other specialties.
Notable titles he worked on include Brunner and Suddarth’s Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Schrier’s Diseases of the Kidney, Merritt’s Neurology, and Lowinson and Ruiz’s Substance Abuse. Titles at JP include the six-volume Sataloff’s Comprehensive Textbook of Otolaryngology and the six-volume Surgical Techniques in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, among other projects. He is also an award-winning playwright whose works have been published and produced across the United States and abroad.
Bridget Meyer is a Senior Development Editor for the Philadelphia office. She has been with Jaypee Medical Inc. for two years, working on such projects as Sataloff’s Comprehensive Textbook of Otolaryngology, Mansour’s Atlas of Vascular and Endovascular Surgical Techniques, Clark and Duh’s Atlas of Endocrine Surgery, and Paparella’s Otolaryngology Principles and Practices. She has previously worked for Lippincott Williams and Wilkins and has worked on many titles while there, most notably on Stoller’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Orthpaedics and Sports Medicine. She lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and two daughters. Bridget is a graduate of Rutgers University.
